A used transmission is only right when it's an exact match — so match the code, not just the year. The tag on the case (or the RPO/build code) identifies the precise unit and your VIN confirms it. Before anything ships we check the things that actually cause misfits: automatic vs manual and the correct gear count, front-wheel vs all-wheel or 4x4 (the cases differ), and whether your vehicle's unit includes the torque converter and valve body — ours ship complete, never a bare case. On late-model units a quick dealer relearn or flash may be needed after install so the shift points recalibrate. Every transmission is drained, inspected, and photographed for your approval before it leaves our shop.
