A few BMW transmission notes we check before shipping: the ZF 6/8-speed must match your sub-model and may need an adaptation reset — we verify by VIN. M-DCT units need the right software and healthy clutches, which we test. We match xDrive vs RWD so it bolts up and shifts right. If it's not right, it doesn't ship.
