A few Acura-specific things matter, and we check them before any unit ships. Match the engine code — the VIN pins down the exact one (a TL could be a 3.2 J32 or a 3.5 J35). On J-series V6s we verify VTEC operation and timing; on K-series fours we check the timing chain and VTC actuator; on B-series we confirm compression and the right trim. We also match Federal vs California emissions so it both fits and passes. If it's not right, it doesn't ship.
