A few Cadillac transmission notes we check before shipping: the GM 6/8-speed must match your sub-model and may need an adaptation reset — we verify by VIN. We match RWD vs AWD so it bolts up and shifts right. Newer 10-speeds may need a software match, which we flag up front. If it's not right, it doesn't ship.
